I spent my early years in the fast-paced corporate world in a variety of roles. When I developed an ulcer before my 30th birthday, I knew it was time for a complete lifestyle change.

Following much contemplation and a year of planning, I fled corporate America in 2007 and discovered a new passion: helping other people find balance and joy in their lives. It was then that I decided to launch Solidarity, Sister! as a resource for women.

I earned a bachelor's degree in behavorial psychology from the University of Tennessee. Using my education and life experience, I was inspired to teach others about self-awareness and life balance.

I have written articles for www.Helium.com, www.EHow.com, and www.Examiner.com. In addition, my two E-Books, How to Create Your Own Happiness! and How to Get Out of Debt and Stay That Way! are available for download.
