Where are the opportunities in the world of online advisory businesses?

One way of answering that question is to look at the highest paid words in keyword search. The best online businesses will be better able to pay for advertising, and keyword search is the preeminent advertising vehicle on the internet.

Personal Finance has the Biggest Share in Valuable Keywords

One of the members over at the DigitalPoint marketing forums gave me a large list of keywords, all with an expected price of over $1.00. The two most important points I was able to glean from the list were as follows:

• Personal finance is by far the biggest category of keywords, as measured by number of keywords, average price and total value. Loans, insurance and credit cards were the top three categories as measured by total value, and they are all part of personal finance.
• There is a very long tail among keywords. Only 25.2% of keyword value was categorized, as shown below, leaving almost 75% of keyword value broadly diversified.
