To create a Live-Answers.com link, all you need to do is register and submit your link. Registration and submission are free.

To be accepted, your link's Description field will have to include an offer to provide advice or answer questions in exchange for payment. After all, the exchange of live answers for money is what the Live-Answers.com website is all about.

Here are three links that I built personally. They provide examples of what might go into a valid Live-Answers.com link.

Link 1: Quick Individual Link

The first link is entitled Quantititative Financial Analyst, and it is a simple offer to answer a quantitative financial question in exchange for $25. The offer limits the amount of time I would take on your question to 1 hour -- if the answer takes more than an hour, I will cry uncle, stop and send you what I have.

If you like the answer to your question, you can post a glowing review at the bottom of the expert link. If you do not like the answer, you can post a flaming review. All links have this review section at the bottom. Experts can post to their own links if they like, but their review will be labeled as coming from them within the review section.

Another element I'd like to point out in this initial link is the PayPal Buy Now button on the right hand side bar. This button allows my potential customer to send me $25 quickly and easily, along with a note. The money shows up in my Paypal account, and the note shows up in my email.

To get your own Paypal Buy Now button, you need to have a Premier or Business account over on Paypal. If you currently have a normal user account, you'll have to upgrade it. Once you have a Premier or Business account, you can click on "Create new button" over in Paypal and build your Buy Now button.

Once you have a Paypal Buy Now button, you can add it here on Live-Answers.com as part of the submit process. You'll need to save the Buy Now image Paypal gives you to your computer's hard drive, then add that image to one of the "Image" fields during submission here on Live-Answers.com. You need to add the code Paypal gives you for your button for an email (not the code for websites, the code for an email) to one of your "Url" fields during submission. You can also add any title and description for your button.

You can add up to five images to your link, along with an url, a title and a description for each image. The Paypal Buy Now button you see in this first link is just another image added here on Live-Answers.com.

Link 2: Company Link

The second link is entitled SpeakToMe Expert Services, and it is a link to an online business. SpeakToMe is my online venture, but I would think that a link like this might be built by a retail store offering personal shopper services, or it might be built by a brokerage firm offering stock research. This second link includes a click through to the company's home page at the top of the link.

The only caveat is that you must make an offer of advice for payment to be included here in the Live-Answers.com directory. Your link cannot promote a service without a monetary offer.

Instead of a Paypal Buy Now button, this link provides access to a SpeakToMe customer representative who will answer questions about SpeakToMe on a per-minute basis, using the SpeakToMe expert widget. The SpeakToMe widget is free, and it has been built to be added onto any website as an interactive tool between an online expert and their audience.

To add a SpeakToMe widget to your Live-Answers.com expert link, you need to be set up as an expert over at SpeakToMe. Once signed up (which is free), you take your SpeakToMe login name and add it to the Live-Answers.com submission page, where it says "Enter your SpeakToMe login name and a clickthrough url for the right hand side bar." The clickthough url can be any valid web address.

This SpeakToMe flash thingie we built for Live-Answers.com is extremely cool, in that it shows as a streaming flash video when you are broadcasting online. Potential customers can click on the video box and be taken to the url you've set. I've set the url to my Blogspot blog page, where the full SpeakToMe widget is available to provide interaction with customers. Customers can pay me over on the blog using a pay-per-minute click-to-call application that comes standard with SpeakToMe.

Link 3: Detailed Individual Link

The third link is entitled Internet Startup Consultant. Similar to the first link, this is an offer by an individual person to provide advice in exchange for payment. This link is a bit more complicated than the first one, in that:

• The title of this third link includes an url for click through to my personal blog.
• The description section has a fuller description of my CV, along with numerous anchors and my direct email address.
• There are two images along with the Paypal Buy Now button in the right hand side bar.
• I've added the SpeakToMe flash widget to the right hand side as well. This flash button clicks through to a totally different website than the clickthough in link #2 above. Both websites have the same SpeakToMe expert widget embedded, however. So as an expert I can draw from two different web audiences at the same time, offering a pay-per-minute service to both audiences while interacting from a single administrative window over on SpeakToMe.

Live-Answers.com is owned and operated by SpeakToMe Inc., a service for online experts.
